Die HP-Bezeichnung (High Purity) bedeutet, dass es von der WQA mit dem Goldsiegel für den Einsatz in Trinkwasseranwendungen zertifiziert ist. SBG2-HP-HCO3 ist für den Einsatz in Trinkwasseranwendungen vorgesehen, bei denen ein stark basisches Anionenharz vom Typ 2 erforderlich ist, bei denen ein anfänglicher pH-Wert-Abfall unerwünscht ist oder bei denen die Freisetzung von Chloriden zu beanstanden ist.
