Built for dependability and designed for ease of use & service, ResinTech offers Type 1 ultrapure water purification systems and replacement filters for nearly any lab or industrial application.

Our Type 1 water systems use a staged purification process which includes high-purity ion exchange resins to remove dissolved minerals and internal recirculation to maintain purity. As the water exits the system, a final 0.2 micron filter removes any lingering particulates or bacteria to ensure the water meets type 1 specifications. These filters are easily installed without tools, allowing you to quickly swap out filters to reduce downtime and keep your water at the standards it needs to be.

What is Type 1 water?

Type 1 water, also known as ultrapure water, is water that meets the strictest levels of purity for usage. "Type 1" refers to the water specification regarding the level of contaminants allowed within the water, placing it at a higher level of purity than "type 2" or "type 3" water, for example.

Water filters designed to provide Type 1 water meet the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) guidelines, ensuring a resistivity of >18 MQ-cm, a conductivity of <0.056 uS/cm, sodium & chloride PPB of < 1, and <50 ppb of Total Organic Carbons (TOC).
