The news comes less than two weeks after the company received the Water Quality Association’s (WQA) Gold Seal certification for the water softening media.

The news comes a little more than a year after the ResinTech moved into its massive new global headquarters and production facility in Camden, New Jersey, the first new facility of its kind to be built in the United States in over three decades.

GARDENA, CA — After fifty years in business, Aqua-Con, a water treatment services company based in Santa Ana, announced an agreement to join forces with ACM Technologies, a leading provider of resin regeneration and water purification services.

"West Berlin, NJ – ResinTech, Inc. has received the WQA's Gold Seal of approval for its arsenic selective resin, ResinTech ASM-10-HP. ResinTech ASM-10-HP now meets ANSI/NSF Standard 44 & 61 specifications for use in all potable water applications. In some states, products not approved under the FDA regulations for use in potable water applications are required to meet ANSI standards. Organizations such as NSF and now WQA's Gold Seal Program are used to provide third-party testing and certification to the ANSI standards.

ResinTech Inc. of Cherry Hill, N.J., announced the purchase of Hydro Components, a division of Electro Pure Inc., a Laguna Hills, Calif.-based manufacturer of water purification and fluid filtration equipment. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. Hydro Components manufactures a variety of small water treatment systems and related filtration equipment and cartridges for use in water and wastewater processing and reclamation. ResinTech will move the Hydro Components operations to its Cherry Hill facilities.
