Ion Exchange Resin

ResinTech PXA-4969 is non-ionic polystyrenic adsorbent resin. The size and volume of the pores in the resin allow for easy diffusion, transport, and reversible binding of dissolved substances in various polar and non-polar fluids. PXA-4969 is intended for use in the sweetener and juice industry and other polymeric adsorbent applications.

ResinTech RSM-25 is a sodium form macroporous strong acid cation resin. Its high crosslinking results in very high selectivity for radium on a one-time use basis. It does not contain barium, is pH agnostic, and does not require a minimum sulfate concentration.

SIR-1200 is intended for use in uranium removal as well as the removal of other trace contaminants such as chromate and arsenate in industrial applications.

ResinTech SIR-1300 is a chloride form hybrid gel strong base anion resin. It has crystalline manganese oxide mono-atomically dispersed throughout the polymer. The manganese oxide hybrid material stores oxygen atoms that combine with ferrous iron to form insoluble ferric oxide, which is trapped inside the resin bed. Oxygen is replenished by an air scour at the start of the cleaning cycle that also separates the suspended solids from the resin beads. Accumulated iron particles are then removed by backwash. SIR-1300 is intended for removal of ferrous iron from potable water.

ResinTech SIR-150 is a borate selective macroporous chelating weak base anion resin. Its unique functionality provides exceedingly high selectivity for boron in almost any aqueous solution, yet can be regenerated with acid and then neutralized with various alkaline salts prior to reuse.
