Radwaste Treatment

ResinTech provides a wide variety of resins and adsorbents suitable for radioactive waste treatment including cation and anion exchange resins, chelating resins and various selective adsorbents for contaminants such as cesium, cobalt, antimony, and various colloids.

Radwaste ion exchange resins must also have low levels of both organic and ionic impurities such that they do not leach any objectionable contaminants into the treated water.

ResinTech expert technical staff are able to provide computer modeling for most ion exchange possibilities and provide accurate projections for operating capacities and leakage for all commonly encountered contaminants when provided with the appropriate feed water analysis. Nuclear grade ion exchange resins must also have low levels of both organic and ionic impurities such that they do not leach any objectionable contaminants into the treated water.

All of ResinTechs radwaste resins are available in uniform particle size (UPS) as well as Gaussian size distributions. ResinTech resins are batch certified and available for quick shipment, when necessary.

CG8-H-BL Black colored high capacity highly regenerated, low sodium hydrogen form cation resin.
CG10-H-BL Black colored high crosslinked highly regenerated, low sodium hydrogen form cation resin.
SBG1P-OH Hydroxide form type I porous anion resin with low chloride residual and lowest possible TOC.
SBG1P-OH-UPS Hydroxide form uniform particle size type I porous anion resin with low chloride residual and lowest possible TOC.
SBG1-OH Hydroxide form type I high crosslinked anion resin with low chloride residual and lowest possible TOC.
SBG1-OH-UPS Hydroxide form uniform particle size type I high crosslinked anion resin with low chloride residual and lowest possible TOC.
MBD-10 1:1 equivalent mixture of CG8-H-BL and SBG1-OH. Highest capacity lowest TOC mixed bed intended for final polishing in secondary loops.
MBD-15 1:1 equivalent mixture of CG8-H-BL and SBG1P-OH. High capacity low TOC mixed bed intended for use in primary loops that are frequently regenerated.
SIR-600 ly prepared natural zeolite for cesium removal.
AGC-50-CS Si Silver impregnated granular activated carbon for removal of low-level colloids. (Call For Specifications)
ASM-10-HP Specially prepared strong base anion resin hybrid for removal of arsenic and its sister metal, antimony.
