Neutralisationspatronen wirken auf saures Wasser, indem sie die Calciumcarbonat- und Magnesiumoxid-Medien langsam auflösen, während das Wasser durch den Filter fließt, wodurch der pH-Wert des Wassers und die Alkalität erhöht werden. Dies eliminiert die Auswirkungen von korrosivem Wasser und kann dazu beitragen, die Korrosion von Rohrleitungen und Armaturen zu verhindern.
Aries GAC/Calcor-Kartuschen enthalten säuregewaschene Kokosnussschalen-Kohlenstoff zusammen mit einer einzigartigen Mischung aus Calcit® und Corosex®. Die hochwertige, säuregewaschene Kohle ist pH-gepuffert und korrigiert den Geschmack und Geruch von Trinkwasser, indem sie Chlor und organische Stoffe reduziert, während Calcor die Auswirkungen von saurem Wasser verringert und dazu beitragen kann, die Korrosion von Rohrleitungen und Armaturen zu verhindern.
