PFAS Contaminants (Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) are commonly referred to as “forever chemicals” and can be found throughout our environment as well as in our drinking water. Previously know as PFCs, they have been widely used in cookware, fast food packaging, stain and water resistant products, as well as a key ingredient in aqueous fire fighting foam. Of the hundreds of such compounds in use, ResinTech can quantify the presence of the two most common compounds (PFOA and PFOS) or conduct a screening for 16 additional compounds including Gen X.
