Announcing the commercial availability of two new medias that are selective for Radium

WEST BERLIN, NJ – ResinTech announces the commercial availability of two new medias that are selective for Radium, ResinTech RSM-25 and ResinTech RSM-50. Both of these new ResinTech medias meet the requirements of ANSI/NSF standard 61 and are available as WQA Gold Seal certified products.
ResinTech RSM-25 is a specially formulated resin media with enhanced capacity for radium over other cations such as calcium, magnesium and sodium. ResinTech RSM-50 is a barium-doped hybrid resin with far more precipitated barium sulfate inside the resin than other competitive products.
Neither RSM-25 nor RSM-50 require any special pretreatment chemicals, there is no minimum limit for sulfate content in the feedwater, nor is addition of a sequestering agent required or recommended. ResinTech RSM-25 and RSM-50 are available in a variety of packaging, from 1 cu ft bags to 40 cu ft supersacks. Specifications sheets and technical details may be found at www.resintech.com
