Announcing the availability of enhanced ion exchange resin analysis capabilities
Friday, May 15, 2009
WEST BERLIN, NJ – ResinTech, Inc. announces the availability of enhanced ion exchange resin analysis capabilities. The laboratory facility at ResinTech headquarters in New Jersey can perform complete digestion of ion exchange resin samples and analysis for detection of any metallic contaminants within the resin beads.
Peter Meyers, ResinTech’s Technical Director, says, “Digestion is superior to ashing because there is no opportunity for metals to volatilize. Therefore, contaminant recovery is virtually 100%. This level of accuracy is demanded by many water treatment customers in the microelectronics and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in other critical applications.”
The ResinTech laboratory process reveals metals precipitated deep inside the resin beads that previously could not be quantitatively measured. Digestion and metals analysis is one of many types of resin testing that the ResinTech laboratory performs. ResinTech also offers standard turnaround time of five business days and emergency service in as little as 24 hours to ensure that digestions as well as resin analysis will be provided in the time frame needed for emergency troubleshooting.
ResinTech, Inc. is a provider of ion exchange resins, activated carbon, and selective media to the water and wastewater marketplace.
